Deferred Hope/ 009

So many of you have been waiting for a long time to have your hopes and dreams come to pass. You know that God has a call on your life. Some of you even know what that call is, but you still don’t see any sign of open doors. At times, you may wonder if you missed “it”, if you are not hearing from God correctly, or that you’re just trying to figure it out yourselves.

Do I have good news for you!

Proverbs 13: 12 – Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but desire fulfilled is a tree of life.

God knows that we long for our desires to be fulfilled. Who do you think put them there? But, you ask, “Then why is it taking so long?”

You have, at times, wanted to take things into your own hands to make it happen. You have been tempted to give up. You have made decisions, or had circumstances take you in the opposite way that you thought you were supposed to be going. Did this take God by surprise? Nooo! He knew what your circumstances were going to be before they even happened. He knew you were going to make, okay I’ll just say it, stupid decisions before you did them. Join the club guys. We’ve all made stupid decisions.

Hang in there. Habakkuk 2: 3 – (Now this is for the end of days, but, when God gives a vision, it will come to pass.) For the vision is meant for its appointed time; it speaks of the end, and it does not lie. It may take a while, but wait for it; it will surely come, it will not delay.

You can be GUARANTEED that if God gave you a promise, a calling, an anointing, a word, that it WILL come to pass. Don’t give up! You are almost there.

May the Lord give you encouragement today to wait until the appointed time.
